A friend who really has little direction was talking about her art and painting style and how she keeps painting and then buring them with no belief they have value. I automatically think about how to bring success to what she is already doing. If art is her passion than surely there is a way to keep that moving in a forward motion. I excitedly threw out ideas about art classes for children, pitching her quirky work to local galleries that are seemingly on the same page. Later Timmy asked why I lied to her. Why did I tell her I thought her work could do well now? I said, because I believe it to be true. If doubt and scepticism is an initial thought, before belief in possibility, well than that is what you shall get. Nothing. <br>All we can do is believe our purpose is greatness, and in the least we'll be moving closer to, rather than away from it.<br>Now, how to teach that to my son ?  I just had this discussion with Timmy.
